Kaisa Hai Naseeban
Kaisa Hai Naseeban was aired on ARY digital featuring Muneeb Butt and Rimsha Khan. It showed how important it is for parents to not come under family pressure while marrying their daughters off. There are so many Pakistani girls who get married and go abroad therefore this was a story for a lot of parents and women to connect to.
Unlike many other dramas in which women are shown to forgive their husbands once they apologize, Maryam has decided to build her own future on the basis of her own abilities. Most importantly, She has gone through worst, but her story has not ended up as a victim. Kaisa Hai Naseeban not only showed that people pay for their wrong doings but it also gave all such women out there hope that they have a future even after they have had a past in which they went through the worst. Kaisa Hai Naseeban has the best ending in every way possible.
Dil Mom Ka Diya
Dil Mom Ka Diya has the same storyline as other Pakistani dramas but the way it was presented on screen won the heart of the viewers. The story revolves around a beautiful yet thankless lady who gets married to an average-looking rich man. Although she gets love and respect from her husband, she doesn’t value any of it. But the best part of this drama was the way she gradually realized her wrongdoings.
The audience loved the end of the drama which shows that in the end, everyone gets what they deserve, whether good or bad. What goes around comes around was an important message of this entertaining serial. The last episode of Dil Mom Ka Diya was also extremely emotional. It had so many soul-stirring dialogues and situations which won the viewers heart completely.
Mubarak Ho Beti Hui Hai
How often do we listen to this phrase ‘Mubarak ho Beti hui hai’! Yes, hardly ever because usually in our society people only congratulate the parents when they are blessed with a boy. The drama highlighted the importance of daughters and showed that girls are a true blessing and they deserve good wishes too. A story covered a long period of time showing how a single mother has bought up her 4 daughters because their father refuses to accept them.
The story was realistic and the ending was exceptional. The last episode of Mubarak ho Beti hoyi hai was amazing because the man who hated his girls, changed his mind over time, and he realized where he had gone wrong. Apart from this, the drama showed how a mother who believes in her daughters not only brings up daughters who are empowered and sensitive but also changes the way girls are perceived by society in general. This end was beautiful and powerful in every way.
Thori Si Wafa Chahiye
“Thori si Wafa chahiye” was a popular drama serial aired in 2011. A beautiful storyline drama revolves around a family of four. The drama shows the cheater gets cheated too at the end of the day. The same happens with Sheraz when he is dismissed from his job on corruption charges. He, on the advice of his assistant, transfers his assets in his new father-in-law’s name just for saving his skin. He is sent to jail after the investigations. Sheraz when he comes out of the prison after a deal according to which he could not join his office again he goes to his wife who is running a love affair with his assistant. She refuse to give him money.
The end of the drama melts the heart of the audience as Sheraz doesn’t have enough money for his son’s treatment as with each passing day his son is getting closer to death. How he manages the funds and how Rania reacts to her son’s sickness is the beauty of this great story.
Ghar Titli Ka Par
Ghar Titli Ka Par taught us how one should never turn a blind eye towards any relation. Friends or family, when subjected to temptation, anyone can change without delay and that was how Azar turned blind to his loving wife. Shafaq’s irrelevant praises of Anji, she tries to make her husband like her friend and her taking sides for Anji, resulted in her losing her own house.
Although we all hated Anji for being the conniving antagonist, we had a hard time controlling our tears in the ending scene of the drama where Anji accidentally drives into her ex-husband and the kids fail to recognize her, leaving her crying in helplessness and regret. The drama is an exceptional depiction of how the households are as delicate as a Titli Ka Par and need to be taken care of with love.
Dar Si Jati Hai Sila
Drama serial Dar Si Jati Hai Sila artfully and unapologetically highlighted many important issues that are most often not given too much importance in society. The best part of this drama was that it had so many important messages for the victims as well as for the abusers! This was another one of those dramas which educated and entertained the audience at the same time.
Dar Si Jati Hai Sila covered so much from the complications of arranged marriages to the limitations of a joint family system. It also showed how far the main protagonists who were the victims for the longest time had come and how things had changed in Noor Manzil. Every single scene of this last episode was beautifully penned down and executed perfectly. The realizations and the punishments were also shown convincingly.
Zun Mureed had more to offer than many of the fast-paced shows we have seen lately. It was groundbreaking in its own way and definitely impactful. Zun Mureed was a different journey altogether. This was not the first time that we saw a drama on our television channels which dealt with the problems which women face in a male-dominated society.
This was the kind of drama which raised quite a few important questions but at the same answered some too! The drama also showed how the children get affected in such a situation. Children need their parents to work together in order to run the house and make them feel secured was another good message. Zun Mureed was definitely the kind of drama that kept on impressing right till the last scene.
